Recently had the chance to see the Ghilbli film and I was really taken with it. Wanted to see if there had been some brilliant Arrietty art done and, lo and behold, came across some really amazing Cosplay. I must admit, the excellence of your Arrietty shots had me Geeking out quite a bit. Just really exceptional detail/quality. Captures the Magic of the film and character perfectly. Well done.
Okay sorry I know you are being pelted with Arrietty questions lol, you just did such an amazing job
PLEEEAAAAASE help give suggestions for my wig - I am having troubles
I am using the lace front Matilda wig, but I find when I pull it into a high pony tail (which in itself is a feat) the hair line looks very....wiggish. Also it is sooooo heavy and falls. Any suggestions? THANKS THANKS you're the best
I will be selling this cosplay, it will include everything except for the boots. [will include the boot cuffs though, that go nicely over an existing pair of boots]. If you're interested, let me know & we'll see if our sizes match up!
Lovely and wonderful job! I've actually wanted to cosplay her so badly but I have a lack of sewing experience. >.<;; IS there any way at all that you could possibly breifly direct me on how you made her clip and belt? Just curious. ;
Hair clip was made from polymer clay. Hand shaped, then baked & painted the details in. It had to be secured to the wig because theres a bit of weight to it! The belt was made from a metal piece I found, then I sewed the rest. I also made the green button/"metallic" rope hook from polymer clay. Both were painted after baked. ^__^
