I'm not certain, my husband is the one who makes the recycled pokemon items. I'm sure there are some tutorials online though!

I have a question about them though, I told my husband about them and he knows how rough I am with my purse now and wanted to know how you protect them from damage, like what do you coat the paper with? If anything? Thanks!~

They're covered with plastic so they're pretty tough! I've had mine for about a month now & it's still perfect! It's also great a protecting against water damage! I wouldn't suggest going diving with it or dropping it into a pool ^__~ But it stays dry in rain, etc.

how is it water resistant, but not wateproof? o3o

Water proof you can fully submerge on water for any period of time and not have to worry about it getting ruined, water resistant would be it can get wet, you wipe it off and it would be fine, but it should not be submerged for prolonged periods of time.

My fiance made it from recycled game guides. He just weaves the folded pieces of paper & then sews it all together!

Nintendo should made this it a great idea and it also helps the environment. It really doesn't look like it made out of recycled guides, but I bet water would ruin it.So kids don't try this at home hehehehehe!

haha actually theres a clear cover on top of it so that it is water resistant, like if you get caught in the rain, etc. but it wouldnt survive a diving trip ^__~
